Wednesday 28 October 2009

This is a 2d animation studying the visual emotions of characters and how their posses and visual acts can communicate with us and make us understand the moods and feelings. This is just two cubes reacting to each other.

Here are some more 2d animation techniques I learnt.

Acrobatic Cubie

This is my next step in maya. Here I have made a cube perform impressive manoeuvres and I enjoyed this piece of work by far.

Here is my first 3d animation, Bouncing Balls. I found this task quite difficult becuase the maya program was hard to learn and I hope get better at it so I can avoid asking for help all the time. Overall I am pleased about the result.

Here I played around with stop animation. I have to say it was pretty fun.

Heres an improved version of bullet flight. In future I plan to to make my drawings stand out the first time I draw them.

Bullet Flight

This is one of my own creations called Bullet Flight. It took me a very long time to draw the frames and I am yet to Count them. I am thrilled that this animation has worked and I can feel myself progressing.

Here is an improved version of my Twinblade

Wednesday 7 October 2009

The Twinblade

As a first small project we were set a simple task. I was quite pleased it was simple because it gives us a steady start and we were told to create a 2d animation of up to 12 frames or over. It was a circle turning into a different shape which was a great way to start.

As I worked on my first piece i did learn alot of new skills and it gave me a rush of excitment to see the result of my animation and in the end i came up with Twinblade as I call it.

I am inspired to hear the opinions on this creation.
